Privacy

What this website collects, and how client data is handled under an engagement.

This website

This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and embeds nothing from a third party. No tracking script runs, and no profile of your visit is built or shared. Fonts are served from this site rather than from a font provider, so opening a page does not tell anyone else that you did.

If you email us, we hold that email and anything in it for as long as it takes to answer you and, where it leads to work, for as long as our records obligations require.

Client and program data

When an agency engages us, the program data we work with belongs to that agency. We handle it as the agency’s contracted service provider, under the Privacy Act 1988, the Australian Privacy Principles and the terms of the contract.

Collection. We receive only the data an engagement needs, from the agency or from the public sources the engagement names. We do not collect personal information about program participants directly from them.

Holding. All client data is held and processed in Australia, unless the agency agrees otherwise in its contract. Access is limited to the cleared staff working on that engagement. The controls we apply are set out on the security page.

Use. We use the data only for the engagement it was provided for. We do not use one agency’s data in work for another, and we do not sell it or use it for marketing.

Disclosure. We disclose client data only to the agency that provided it, or where the contract or the law requires it.

Breaches. If client data is involved in a security incident, we notify the agency within 24 hours of becoming aware of it and support its assessment under the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.

Return and destruction. When an engagement ends, we return or destroy the data as the contract directs, and confirm to the agency in writing that it has been done.

Access, correction and complaints

To ask what personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected, or to complain about how we have handled it, email privacy@quantivate.com.au. You do not need to give a reason for asking.

We will acknowledge your request within 5 business days and resolve it within 30 days. If we cannot give you access or make a correction, we will tell you why in writing.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
